This is an absolutely huge get for Washington and offensive line coach Scott Huff, because 99% of the time, a prospect like Myles Murao from Mater Dei High School, would end up at USC. Thankfully for the Huskies, he was a prospect that was interested from the start and the coaches were able to secure his commitment. That was no small task considering the historical forces pulling him to USC, and offers from everyone: Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Auburn, and Wisconsin. He officially visited over the summer in June, and committed about one month later.
Murao is a top-100 overall prospect and the #1 center in the composite rankings (#3 in just the 247 rankings) and will compete right away for playing time.
