The NFL is the grandaddy of head coaching positions. As such, the end of the 2017 NFL season begins the annual migration of NCAA coaches and assistants to the promised land of football coaching – an opportunity to land a new coaching position with an NFL team. In fact, it was such an event which lured former Washington Football team‘s wide receiver coach Bush Hamdan to the NFL to serve as the quarterback coach for the Atlanta Falcons. After one season, the Huskies managed to lure Hamdan back to Washington to serve as the quarterback coach and offensive coordinator.
