They are waiting for their Sun Bowl matchup with Louisville, and they’re waiting for their transfer targets to make a decision on where they’ll play next year. They’re also waiting for the defensive coordinator, Steve Belichick, to likely leave for North Carolina to work with his father at the start of the new year. Belichick’s buyout turns to dust on January 1, which just so happens to be the day after the Sun Bowl.
