  • Regional differences in college football are very much alive and well. Saturday’s drubbing at the hands of a big, physical, direct Iowa team reinforces that point. Christian Caple reflected on the loss and noted that it was a negative data point in response to the question about whether UW’s makeshift offensive line could hold up through a full season. The Dawgs don’t necessarily need to become Iowa just because they joined the Big 10, but they do need the tactics and personnel that can deal with Iowa better than what we saw this weekend.
