Thybulle on the Bruins: "Watching these teams growing up and playing against them is a dream come true. It’s one thing to be a fan off the court. Once you’re out there nobody looks up to anybody. It’s dog eat dog."
Washington freshman forward Matisse Thybulle said the Huskies learned valuable lessons following Monday’s 83-78 upset loss to UC Santa Barbara.
“We realize we’re talented, but we realize we can’t just show up and beat teams,” he said. “We have to play Husky basketball.”
The Huskies lost two of the last three nonconference games, including a 97-83 setback to Oakland.
