A Beacon Hill fire destroyed one home and left a man critically burned Saturday, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
One man is in critical condition after he was found burned a few blocks away from a fire that destroyed a Beacon Hill house Saturday, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
Firefighters were called to a home in the 5500 block of 20th Avenue South, near South Lucille Street, around 3:30 p.m.
When crews arrived, the home was engulfed in flames and firefighters took a “defensive position,” trying to knock down the fire and protect other homes, the fire department said.
