It seems quite clear that year one of the Danny Sprinkle era at Washington was a tremendous disappointment. The Huskies didn’t exactly start the year with grand expectations but finishing 2 games lower than any other team in the Big Ten conference standings as well as 20 spots worse at KenPom definitely is worse than anyone wanted.
That year is over now. There are ways that the coaching staff will hopefully learn from it but at this point it’s in the best interest of the program to try to keep their eyes looking forward. The question is: How realistic is it that Danny Sprinkle can turn things around after that kind of a debut season?
