Get breezy — and unique — summer style with a Marmalade Originals cotton skirt, sewn by Geraldine Varvaro in her Madison Park home in Seattle.
The easy A-line skirts come in an array of cheerful, vintage-inspired prints. And Varvaro works with limited quantities of each fabric, to ensure that each piece is an original.
The skirts, made from 100-percent cotton from locally sourced fabric, sit comfortably on the hips and are cut on the bias for a flattering silhouette. Two lengths are available: at the knee and just below it.
The skirts always include what Varvaro calls a “Marmalade morsel” — a fun design embellishment that makes each piece unique.
