Las Vegas scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning, pounding out six hits, including a pair of two-run doubles.

Everett (25-19) scored six runs in the top of the first inning and a total of 17 hits overall in overpowering the Volcanoes (24-20).
Shortstop Drew Jackson was 4 for 5 with a two-run home run.
The Volcanoes rallied for three runs in the bottom of the ninth, but it was too little too late.
