Jacob Eason is back on the UW campus, this time in an official capacity.
Eason, the five-star senior quarterback from Lake Stevens High, was a regular at Washington practices in the spring of 2014, throwing a football with friends while wearing a Husky T-shirt on the Husky Stadium sideline. On Wednesday, he returned to UW to make his official recruiting visit, a source has confirmed, and Husky coaches are expected to make a strong pitch to keep the state player of the year home.
Eason’s recruitment had been largely quiet until two weeks ago, when Georgia fired longtime coach Mark Richt.
