The Seattle Reign won its third match in a row, beating the Boston Breakers 2-1 Saturday night on the road.
Forward Beverly Yanez and midfielder Kim Little both tallied goals for the Reign (9-3-3), who remained at the top of the National Women’s Soccer League with 30 points.
Little scored the match winner in the 58th minute on a penalty kick. Boston defender Julie King tripped her up in the box, drawing a yellow card on the play.
Little converted on the PK to put the Reign ahead for good.
Boston’s chances to find an equalizer were far and few between as the Reign backline remained stout.
