Roommates since they arrived on campus as freshmen two years ago, Keishawn Bierria and Azeem Victor now share emerging roles as new leaders on the Washington defense.
“Azeem has grown a lot since freshman year. He was my roommate and he annoyed me every day,” Bierria said Sunday. “But when it comes to competing and working on the field, that dude is crazy — he’s one of the best at it. … He brings that energy, that brute force and that’s what I like and that’s what I feed off of.
