On Jan. 12, 93.3 KJR released a statement announcing the planned interview with then-head coach Kalen DeBoer was off.
“Please understand that Coach DeBoer & UW Athletics are continuing to work towards a future we can all be excited about. At this time, Coach will not be joining us this morning, but we will reschedule our interview soon.”
One day later, reports swirled that DeBoer had accepted Alabama’s offer to succeed Nick Saban as head coach.
