JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram will miss Monday's game against Buffalo with a hamstring injury.

Engram injured his hamstring during pre-game warmups last Sunday and did not play against the Cleveland Browns.

Second-year player Brenton Strange started in Engram's place against the Browns and set career highs in catches (three) and receiving yards (65). He'll fill the same role against the Bills.

Engram, who had just one catch for 5 yards in the Jaguars' season-opening loss at Miami, had not missed a game with the Jaguars since signing with the team in March 2022.
