It must be summer — 13 days, 15 blockbuster shows

Early August is peak concert season in the Pacific Northwest. Nights are still long, summer tours are at their height and amphitheaters like Marymoor Park and Chateau Ste. Michelle — two of the area’s more pleasant places to see a show — get a chance to shine before lying dormant much of the year.

The coming week offers something for anyone who owns a radio, featuring America’s premier arena rock band, a Broadway sensation-turned-pop star and no fewer than three outdoor music festivals.
