Meron Simon has learned a valuable lesson in the past two weeks — beyond the obvious one, the one that he helped teach the world, that a race is never over until you cross the finish line.
“Going viral,’’ he said, “is not as cool as you think it is. But it’s exciting.”
He said it with a hearty laugh, mind you. For the most part, Simon is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame, which has extended longer than that, longer than he ever thought it would.
