Life in the Big Ten is cruel to rebuilding teams, especially on the road. Washington marched into Columbus searching for a second straight win but left with a 93-69 thumping. The Huskies fall to 12-12 (3-10 Big Ten)
The Huskies struggled to get going right away. The Buckeyes notched their first double-digit lead when nailing a triple to go up 29-17. From there, things continued to get ugly. Ohio State kept UW out of reach while building on its lead in the process. The Huskies trailed 51-36 at the end of the opening half.
Washington entered the second half hoping to trim the lead and possibly make a run to turn momentum.
