BERKELEY, Calif. – The Washington men’s basketball team traded baskets with California for about 25 minutes before pulling away midway in the second half and cruising to 68-51 victory in their final Pac-12 road game.
Jaylen Nowell led the Huskies (19-10, 9-7 Pac-12) with a game-high 23 points while Noah Dickerson added 16 and nine boards.
The win snapped a streak of three road losses for Washington, which finishes the regular season next week at Alaska Airlines Arena against Oregon State and Oregon.
The Huskies entered Saturday’s game at Haas Pavilion with a 1-4 record in the previous five games, and they struggled for awhile against the last-place team in the Pac-12.
