Brandon Dawkins or Anu Solomon?
Washington coach Chris Petersen believes Arizona will start Dawkins at quarterback for Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. Pac-12 opener at Arizona Stadium.
Dawkins is 2-0 since filling in for Solomon, who suffered a knee injury in practice. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound sophomore has thrown for 458 yards and two touchdowns without an interception this season.. He’s also second on the team with 215 rushing yards. He also has five rushing TDs, which is second in the Pac-12.
Solomon, a 6-3 and 206-pound junior, is 17-11 as Arizona’s quarterback.
