College football’s watch-list season continues.
UW seniors Travis Feeney and Cory Littleton have been named to the watch list for the Dick Butkus Award, given annually to the nation’s top linebacker. Feeney and Littleton are the Huskies’ lone veterans returning on a new-look defensive front this season.
Other UW watch-list players:
- Budda Baker: Jim Thorpe (best defensive back), Paul Hornung (most versatile), Chuck Bednarik (best defensive player) and Bronko Nagurski (best defensive player) awards.
- Joshua Perkins: John Mackey Award (best tight end)
- Korey Durkee: Ray Guy Award (best punter)
- Cameron Van Winkle: Lou Groza Award (best kicker)
