Everett Golson appears to be headed to Florida State, according to a report from 247sports.com.
The senior quarterback, who helped lead Notre Dame to the national championship game after the 2012 season, was granted his release from the Irish last week and has been seeking a transfer. ESPN on Monday reported that Golson had a list of 10 schools to which he was interested in transferring. Florida State, Alabama, South Carolina and one mystery Pac-12 team were on that list.
Washington does not appear to be that mystery Pac-12 team. Or, if UW is on Golson’s list, there doesn’t appear to be mutual interest: According to a source, the Huskies have not reached out to Golson.
