From Hawaii to Louisiana, UW coaches have checked in on recruits from throughout the country this week.
Washington coaches this week have logged what might be for many of us a lifetime’s worth of air miles. From Hawaii to Louisiana, the UW coaches have checked in on recruits for this 2016 seniors class to other younger prospects down the road.
Most of the UW coaches are back in the Seattle area and will attend the Class 3A championship game Friday night between Eastside Catholic and Bellevue, Scout.com’s Scott Eklund reports. The 3A title game features two UW recruits: Eastside Catholic’s Brandon Wellington, a projected linebacker for the Huskies, and Bellevue cornerback Isaiah Gilchrist.
