Jedd Fisch has been very open with the need to recruit along the OL to have success on the field. With four prospects already committed for the 2025 class many may have assumed that they were done at the position, but Fisch and Carroll are clearly hungry for more.
The staff has flipped OT Jack Shaffer from Iowa State, where he had been committed since the end of April. The talented tackle from Bismarck, ND began receiving attention from UW near the end of August, but never reported landing an offer. In addition to covertly earning an offer, Shaffer also took an official visit during the Eastern Michigan game that flew under the radar too.
