Hunter Bishop, a three-star wide receiver from Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif., announced his commitment to the Huskies on Tuesday night.
Bishop is the younger brother of former UW center fielder Braden Bishop, who was selected by the Mariners in the third round of the MLB draft in June.
Like his brother, Hunter Bishop was also a standout outfielder in high school, but the plan “as of now” is for Hunter to focus only on football at UW, Braden said on Twitter.
Proud to announce that I've committed to play football for Coach Petersen and the University of Washington #godawgs pic.
