For the first time in at least 10 years, ticket prices for University of Washington men’s basketball games are dropping, as much as 5 to 7 percent for the 2015-2016 season.
Attendance at Huskies home games have declined each of the past four seasons.
Under the new pricing scenario, UW students can now buy a season ticket for both football and basketball for $105, whereas this past year the season tickets were sold separately for each sport and cost $99 each.
The Huskies also are creating The Backcourt Club in the East Gym at Alaska Airlines Arena where season-ticket holders will have access to beer, wine and upgraded concessions before games and during halftime of Pac-12 contests.
