Huskies Beat Hornets 57-41

The Huskies got off to yet another slow start offensively, but managed to literally double their first half point total in the second half to beat Sacramento State (6-3) at home in Seattle.

Seniors Matisse Thybulle and Noah Dickerson both scored 12 points, while sophomore Nahziah Carter came off the bench to score 11 points. The low offensive output in the first half had two main factors. First, Sacramento State played tight defense in the paint and left no breathing room for Noah Dickerson to contribute much offensively. Second, given the Hornets’ defensive strategy to take away Dickerson, that left the three point line wide open to UW’s shooters.
