How to Follow Washington Crew in the Windermere Cup

The history of the Windermere Cup goes back to 1987 when a local Seattle entrepreneur set out to raise the bar of competition for rowing in the Pacific Northwest.  The first event matched UW men's and women's crew against rowers from the then Soviet Union.  Since that time, the cup has been a spring tradition for UW Crew and for locals who like to turn out and see some of the best rowers in the world compete on the beautiful Montlake Cut.

That tradition renews today with the running of the 29th Windermere Cup Regatta.  Washington will be hosting some stiff competition in this year's contest including rowers from the current world champion New Zealand national team, Colombia University and the University of Virginia.
