HONOLULU (AP) — Buddy Hield scored 25 points as No. 3 Oklahoma cruised to an 88-60 win over Washington State in a quarterfinal-round game of the Diamond Head Classic Tuesday night.
Hield made 8 of 13 shots from the field, including 5 of 8 from 3-point range, and was a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line in just 26 minutes played. He had 15 points by halftime.
Isaiah Cousins had 13 points, Dante Buford added 11 and Jordan Woodard 10 for the Sooners (9-0), who led by as many as 30 points late in the contest.
