A year ago the big story on the first day of training camp was that running back Marshawn Lynch was nowhere to be found, holding out in an attempt to redo his contract. On Friday Lynch was seemingly everywhere, as active for a training-camp practice as he has ever been, this being a time of year when he often takes it easy. “He looked good today and quick, and it was a great first day,’’ coach Pete Carroll said.
Lynch worked with the first team throughout practice; it was his first on-field work with the team since March, when he signed a new contract paying him $12 million this season — second-highest in the NFL among running backs behind Adrian Peterson.
