Down one of the best receivers in the country in Jalen McMillan, the pass game did not miss a beat. Surprising no one who watches this team, WR Ja’Lynn Polk put in a masterful performance, besting WR Rome Odunze in catches (8) and yards (127), and tying him in touchdowns (2). His helmet grab touchdown in the corner of the end zone was not only an inch perfect catch, but an accurate strike from Penix.
