Former Seattle University men’s basketball coach Cameron Dollar accused the school of racial bias, firing him without cause and failing to provide full compensation owed to him in a lawsuit obtained by the Seattle Times.
Dollar alleges he “experienced a pattern of harassing and discriminatory treatment from senior administrators.”
The lawsuit, which was filed Nov. 16 in King County Court, describes a falling out and series of disagreements with former SU athletic director Bill Hogan, who hired Dollar in 2009.
Dollar, 41, spent eight seasons with the Redhawks and compiled a 10-7-138 record. He was fired in March after Seattle U went 13-17 during the 2016-17 season and finished sixth in the Western Athletic Conference at 5-9.
