Coach: Bruce Barnum is 10-4 in his second season with the Vikings. He spent five years (2010-14) at PSU’s offensive coordinator before taking last year. Barnum, who played middle linebacker at Eastern Michigan, won the Big Sky Coach of the Year award in 2015.
Last season: The Vikings (9-3) are among the top teams in the Football Championship Division. They finished tied for second at 6-2 in the 13-team Big Sky Conference.
