Howling winds, sub-55 degree temperatures and a slight rainfall provided the backdrop Saturday night as Washington jumped on Arizona early in the 49-3 rout and and ran away with their most dominating Pac-12 performance this season.
In front of sparse Husky Stadium crowd of 56,749 – many decked out in Halloween costumes – the Huskies snapped a two-game losing streak and evened their record at 4-4.
With four games remaining, including next Saturday’s 4:30 p.m. showdown against No. 13 Utah at Husky Stadium, Washington is two wins away from being bowl eligible. UW is also tied for fourth in the Pac-12 North division at 2-3.
