Firefighters battled a 2-alarm fire early Thursday in the 8500 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast.
The fire involved three homes in the Maple Leaf neighborhood and two of the homes are total losses, according to Kyle Moore, spokesman for the Seattle Fire Department.
Firefighters rescued a bearded dragon pet lizard from one of the burning homes.
