In their first official B1G cross country road game, the Washington Huskies fell short on their 4th quarter comeback, losing to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 21-18. Under the bright Friday night lights, UW showcased their dynamic offense amassing over 500 yards. However it was not enough as drives would sputter in the red zone causing the need to settle for FGs, which unfortunately not successful either. These inconsistent and frustrating flashes of greatness give hope to the season, but like the great Ted Lasso said - “It’s the hope that kills you.” (Go Greyhounds).
Hopefully the Dawgs can shake it off and pull off a top 10 upset as Michigan comes into town.
