SEATTLE (AP) — Kay Felder scored a career-high 38 points, Martez Walker added 18 and Oakland used a huge first half offensively to run away from Washington 97-83 on Saturday.
The Golden Grizzlies (7-3) picked up its first road win over a power conference opponent since winning at Tennessee in December 2010, thanks largely to the performance of Felder who came in as the nation's fifth-leading scorer at 24.6 per game. Felder had 25 points in the first half, scoring Oakland's final 14 point, and the Golden Grizzlies shot nearly 54 percent taking a 55-35 lead at the break.
