Melvin Davis has had a lot to overcome to get back into the good graces of the collegiate football world. The four-star running back ran into a bit of legal trouble just before he was going to play for the Washington Huskies. He quickly saw his world crash down around him.
In the summer of 2011, Davis was arrested in Los Angeles after authorities alleged he had been an accomplice to murder. He was sentenced to spend time in prison and he was released after just two years. That was because he had nothing to do with the murder.
