In his way-too-early 2018 NFL mock draft, ESPN’s Mel Kiper projects Washington’s Trey Adams as a first-round pick.
Adams enters his junior season in 2017 as the left tackle on a veteran offensive line that also returns senior center Coleman Shelton and right tackle Kaleb McGary. Guards Andrew Kirkland and Nick Harris were part-time starters in 2016.
In 2015, Adams became the first true freshman in UW history to start at left tackle. He started all 14 games last fall, earning first-team all-Pac-12 recognition and second-team All-America honors from the FWAA.
