The #13 Washington Huskies begin the 2019 season hosting the cross-state Eastern Washington Eagles. The last time EWU was at Husky Stadium they came within a touchdown of pulling off an upset and torched the UW defense in Chris Petersen’s first game as Washington’s coach. The Washington defense is very young yet again but the program has upped both their talent and the on-field results dramatically since that last game in 2014. Still, the Eagles are viewed as the #3 team in the FCS and are coming off an FCS title game appearance of their own. There is no official betting line on this game since Eastern is from a different division but unofficial lines have the Huskies as approximately a 22.
