It was less than 3 weeks ago that it appeared Washington’s postseason dreams had been dashed. The Huskies led by 6 at Oregon with 3 minutes to go before a tidal wave of turnovers resulted in a one-point loss in the closing seconds. Then Washington squandered a 12-point lead in the 2nd half over top-5 USC to fall to 14-12 on the season. A heck of a run would be needed at that point. But that run happened with Washington completing a 4-game win streak to close out the regular season with a revenge 64-56 win over Oregon this afternoon to move to 16-12 (9-9).
