Instead, the Washington men’s basketball coach is sticking to the plan and weathering some growing pains — knowing better than anyone that too many November upsets could haunt him in March.
“It’s way too early to scrap what we’re doing at this point or tweak,” said Romar, whose Huskies have a five-year NCAA tournament drought. “It’s not that we don’t know what to do, we have to do it more consistently.
