Body found in duffel bag in SeaTac identified

The woman whose body was found Monday in a duffel bag in SeaTac has been identified as Jenna K. Ferguson, 23, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The cause and manner of Ferguson’s death has yet to be determined, according to the medical examiner. She died on July 20, the office said.

Ferguson’s body was found about 8:30 a.m. at the Abbey Ridge Apartments near South 204th Street and 30th Avenue South by a maintenance worker discovered the duffel bag next to a large trash bin.

It was the second time since May that the Sheriff’s Office has investigated a body found in luggage, although the incidents are not believed related.
