BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin shared his first public comments since suffering cardiac arrest on January 2 by posting an almost six minute video to his Instagram thanking everyone for the continued support and well wishes over the past month.
Hamlin said that it was important for him to wait to speak publicly at the "right time" as it was "just a lot to process within my own self, mentally, physically, even spiritually." The video was shot at the team's facility in Orchard Park, N.Y. The 24-year-old included in the video that he is continuing to make a lot of progress in his recovery.
