For a change, the games last weekend went pretty much as expected. And all but one of the home teams won. (Penn State beat Wisconsin on the road.) Let’s hope that the trend of home teams winning continues this weekend-although it doesn’t look like that will be the case (more on that below).
Polls
Oregon continues at the top of both polls. Penn State and Ohio State are also unchanged. Despite the win, Indiana’s ranking did not change, either. And Illinois dropped after their loss, but they stayed in the top-25. Next week the CFP releases their first poll of the season, and that will be the one to watch through the start of the playoffs.
