A new year and a new conference...Where does UW rank among teams in their new conference as we head into a new season?
You don’t have to college football very closely to know which teams in the Big Ten are the top-ranked ones in both the conference as well as nationally. Ohio State, defending champion Michigan, and Penn State have all been highly ranked nationally the last few years and all start the season easily in the top 15. Oregon, one of the newcomers to the Big Ten also starts the season easily among the top 4 in the Big Ten and, in most rankings, among the top 5 nationally.
