Perhaps no program in college football has declined as steeply over the last two decades than the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Huskers won two National Championships under Bob Devaney in the ‘70s, then won three more under Tom Osborne. From ’73-’97, Osborne was arguably the best coach in the country, routinely winning double-digit games and finishing in the top 10. From ’81-’89, the Huskers went to the Orange, Sugar, or Fiesta Bowl every season.
