Arizona State scored 24 unanswered points in the second half to secure a 27-17 win over Washington on Saturday. The host Sun Devils snapped their three-game losing streak, which should give Arizona State a much-needed confidence boost heading into the Territorial Cup.
What the win means for Arizona State: The Sun Devils came out flat, punting on seven of their first eight drives, but recovered in the second half. Though the Husky defense was strong, it did give up a few big plays that ultimately allowed the Sun Devils' offense to get turned around.
