The Huskies announced the signing of the #3 placekicking prospect in the nation after Hawaii native Tim Horn of Punahou High School sent in his letter of intent today.
Horn is a big addition to a team desperate to improve its special teams. Luckily, his commitment was never in doubt.
Placekicking has been a challenge for Chris Petersen and his Huskies since he arrived at Montlake. Cameron Van Winkle, a Steve Sarkisian era holdover, provided Petersen with three solid years before the position became a turnstile rotation of various players with a variety of health, leg strength, and accuracy challenges.
