One of the better inside linebackers in the NFL during the 2016 NFL season was Zach Brown. In his first year with the Buffalo Bills, Brown was a revelation playing in the team’s 3-4 defense. He recorded a career high in tackles with 149 and recorded four sacks. He also had an interception and forced a couple of fumbles. Brown used his athleticism and playmaking ability to become a Pro Bowler, and many expected him to get a big payday in 2017.
However, a market for the linebacker’s service never really materialized. He got interest from a few teams, but he ended up signing a one year deal with the Washington Redskins.
