ASHBURN — After the birth of his son, Kirk Cousins texted the Redskins’ coaching staff. The quarterback described the delivery as a ‘top experience’ of his life, so far.
Cousins‘ wife, Julie, gave birth late Friday to Cooper Cousins, a healthy baby of nine pounds, six ounces. Cousins returned to practice Saturday and was all smiles after the birth of his first child.
Cousins said he was grateful the delivery turned out well, crediting his wife.
“It’s been a great experience because Julie has been so positive all the way through it,” Cousins said.
